Our COVID-19 Test is a laboratory based rRT-PCR test which is the “gold standard” in virus detection. PCR tests are more accurate, and more likely to detect asymptomatic cases of infection than competing tests.
Our Test has a false positive rate of <1% and a false negative rate of <2%. The overall Testing accuracy is >99.5%.

6) SARS-CoV-2 virus inactivated.
Our collection devices inactivate the SARS-CoV-2 virus on contact. Traditional UTM/VTM do not deactivate live viruses. UTM/VTM are less safe viral transport media when used for a deadly pathogen such as SARS-CoV-2.
7) Refrigerant not required.
Our Test Kit does not require refrigeration or cold-chain processing to preserve virus samples. This reduces the likelihood of false-negative test results due to sample degradation during return shipping to the lab.
8) Insurance Reimbursable.
We provide you with your a Receipt and Test Requisition form (sent to you after your test) so that you can submit a reimbursement claim to your insurance company to cover the full cost of your test.

Biotech Accelerated’s Tests are shelf stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture. You can order our Test Kits for the future if you want to be tested later on. Telehealth visits are billed to your insurance and do not require a copay or cost sharing. If patients do not have insurance, their consults are covered by the CARES Act.
